John Caldwell announced as Board Member for Brodie’s Law Foundation

“I'm beaming with pride as I announce my new role as a board member of Brodie's law foundation,” says anti-bullying advocate John Caldwell.
Brodie’s Law is Victoria’s anti-bullying legislation that was commenced in June 2011; the law made serious bullying a crime punishable by up to 10 years in jail.
Brodie’s Law was introduced after the tragic suicide of a young 19 year old, Brodie Panlock, who was subjected to relentless bullying in her workplace.
As an Ambassador with the Alannah and Madeline Foundation John is fighting for change to save lives lost through bullying. “Bullying can lead to tragic outcomes for victims. By developing a legislation that provides consequences to the instigators, Brodie’s Law shows that we’re serious about the issue and is a step in the right direction towards national and international laws.”
