The Alannah and Madeline Foundation has partnered with John Caldwell and the AFL to stand up for our kids.

At a special event held yesterday the message was simple: The number of school children bullied every fortnight in Australia could fill the MCG. The unimaginable number is sadly true. Almost one million Australian children have lived with violence in their home. We all have a responsibility to keep our kids safe.

From the 29 June to 5 July The Alannah and Madeline foundation are urging all Australians to stand up for our kids and take a pledge to keep our children safe from violence.

With a vision that every child will live in a safe and supportive environment, John and the foundation are calling on all Australian’s to show their commitment.
As the Foundation's Community Partner since 2012, Richmond Football Club has chosen to dedicate the Richmond vs Brisbane Lions (round 16) AFL Match at the MCG on Saturday, 5th July, to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation. The Charity Match Day will raise awareness and funds for the Foundation through the Stand Up for Our Kids campaign.
