Women are up in arms about cuts to specialist women’s refuges, but male children are falling through the cracks.

Reforms recently announced by the NSW state government would reduce the number of specialty women’s refuges to make way for generic homeless centres. An analysis performed by Lesley Laing at Sydney University suggests that this will leave areas with some of the highest domestic violence rates without specialist centres.
