John has amassed vast knowledge and experience over his career and has been exposed to the intricacies of starting, building and running businesses. John has also had the benefit of being entrenched in large, global companies and consulting to the Directors of Fortune 500 companies. John’s experience in both Franchise and corporate business, and his ability to see things differently, make him a sought after consultant.
He worked as executive director for a number of companies and is currently CEO of the RWR Group. This has led to his appointment on the board of several start up and SME’s companies as well as lobbying bodies looking to make a difference.
John has also acted in an advisory capacity to a number of other companies on a myriad of consulting assignments from small to large scale. John has also chaired committees for organisations in areas such as Remuneration and Benefits and position coding and framework committees. John has worked with the likes of Maddocks employment lawyers in Australia and Mercer worldwide to hone his experience.
Brodie’s Law is Victoria’s anti-bullying legislation that was commenced in June 2011; the law made serious bullying a crime punishable by up to 10 years in jail.
Brodie’s Law was introduced after the tragic suicide of a young 19 year old, Brodie Panlock, who was subjected to relentless bullying in her workplace.
As an Ambassador with the Alannah and Madeline Foundation John is fighting for change to save lives lost through bullying. “Bullying can lead to tragic outcomes for victims. By developing a legislation that provides consequences to the instigators, Brodie’s Law shows that we’re serious about the issue and is a step in the right direction towards national and international laws.” John's passion and his consulting experience brings a unique and strategic set of skills to the table.
