Ah, Paris! The city that always finds a way to charm me, no matter how many times I visit. This time around, I spent a whirlwind 24 hours in Paris indulging in the best the city has to offer. From luxury shopping to iconic filming locations from Emily in Paris, this journey was all about creating unforgettable memories.
8:00 AM – Breakfast at Café de Flore
The day begins at Café de Flore—one of the most iconic cafes in Paris. Known for its rich history and old-world charm, it’s the perfect spot for people-watching while savoring buttery croissants and café au lait. The café has hosted famous artists, intellectuals, and writers, so you can feel like a part of Parisian history while soaking in the chic atmosphere. Don’t forget to snap an Instagram-worthy pic on their outdoor terrace!
10:00 AM – Shopping in Le Marais
No trip to Paris is complete without a shopping spree in the stylish Le Marais district. A favorite of fashionistas and locals alike, Le Marais is home to some of the most charming boutiques. I popped into the Sézane flagship store—their curated pieces feel so quintessentially French. And of course, a stop at Merci for home goods and chic fashion finds was a must.
12:00 PM – Lunch with a View at Girafe
I headed to Girafe, an elegant restaurant known for its unrivaled view of the Eiffel Tower. The vibe is pure Parisian sophistication, and the seafood is to die for. I went for the lobster and it was everything! Sitting on their terrace, I couldn’t help but feel like I was living my very own Emily in Paris moment.
2:30 PM – High Tea at Hotel Particulier Montmartre
In the afternoon, I made my way to Hotel Particulier Montmartre for high tea. This stunning venue was once the private home of the Hermès family, and the lush garden makes it feel like a secret hideaway in the heart of Paris. The tea is exceptional, and the setting is nothing short of magical—perfect for a serene escape from the city’s hustle. Definitely snap a photo of the gardens and let everyone guess where in Paris this hidden gem is. I was fully prepared to feel intimidated here but it couldn't have been further from the truth. The staff were exceptional not only with their service but they were fun and showed me around and had incredible knowledge of the rich history of the property. be sure to pose for a pic with the fabulous Antoine @antoinlesquertopor who knows everything about the property including a few celebrity secrets shhhh..... I will definitely be staying here next time!!
4:00 PM – Explore Emily in Paris Locations
Being a fan of Emily in Paris, I couldn’t resist visiting some key filming spots. First stop: Place de l’Estrapade, where Emily’s apartment is located in the show. It’s a quaint little square with a gorgeous Parisian backdrop. From there, I wandered over to Pont Alexandre III, where the famous fashion show scene took place. Both locations are stunning, and you'll feel like you're part of the series.
5:30 PM – Drinks at Fabula
As evening approached, it was time to unwind with a drink at Fabula. This stunning venue is nestled within the Musée Carnavalet's gardens, and the ambiance is absolutely enchanting. The mixology is top-notch, and I found myself sipping on an expertly crafted cocktail, all while basking in the glow of golden hour.
7:00 PM – A VIP Louvre Experience
Now, for something truly unforgettable. I had arranged a private, after-hours tour of the Louvre. Without the crowds, the museum felt even more magical. Standing in front of the Mona Lisa without anyone blocking the view was surreal. It’s a bit of a splurge, but worth every penny for art lovers who want a more intimate experience with the world’s most famous masterpieces.
9:00 PM – Dinner at Ralph’s
For dinner, I headed to Ralph’s on Boulevard Saint-Germain. It’s an American-inspired restaurant owned by Ralph Lauren, offering a chic and cozy atmosphere. I indulged in their perfectly cooked steak, paired with a robust French red. The courtyard setting under the Parisian night sky is an absolute dream.
Where I Stayed: 9Hotel
This time around, I opted for a more budget-conscious stay at 9Hotel Opéra. It's a stylish boutique hotel in the 9th arrondissement, perfect for those looking to balance luxury with practicality. The hotel offers modern rooms with sleek designs, and its central location makes it convenient for exploring the city.
My Go-To: Hotel Le A
On previous trips, I’ve stayed at Hotel Le A—a true gem in the chic 8th arrondissement. This boutique hotel is known for its stunning design, featuring modern art installations and a calm, sophisticated ambiance. It’s the perfect blend of artistic flair and Parisian elegance.
If You’re Ready to Splurge: Relais Christine, Hotel Costes, or The Ritz
If you’re in the mood to pull out all the stops, consider staying at Relais Christine or Hotel Costes. Both offer unrivaled luxury, with elegant décor and prime locations in the heart of Paris. And of course, The Ritz—because who wouldn’t want to follow in the footsteps of Coco Chanel and live out their Parisian fantasy in such an iconic hotel?
